A huge congratulations to A Block/Year 8 on achieving 55 awards to a variety of leading senior schools.
Far from being deterred as a result of the current pandemic, our young Dragons have continued to embrace our Virtual Holistic Curriculum and have had a tremendously successful year, gaining 55 awards across an impressive span of subjects and wider-curricular specialisms.
Headmaster, Dr Crispin Hyde-Dunn, commented:
“Collectively this is an exceptional achievement and a real testament to the children’s hard work and determination, the commitment of the Dragon staff who have taught and prepared the candidates for their scholarship exams and interviews, and the unstinting support and generous encouragement of parents, affirming the vital partnership between home and School. We are immensely proud of all our A Block/Year 8 Dragons, who continue to show remarkable resilience and fortitude in such challenging circumstances, as many prepare to take their 13+ Common Entrance exams at the beginning of June.”

“Each year, it is such a privilege to see the children loving what they are doing. It is always great when a child receives an award but by far the best part is the process of honing skills in each Dragon’s chosen area.”
